The City of Lorain Tourism Council, subcommittee of the Lorain Growth Corporation, will exist to promote tourism in the city of Lorain. The subcommittee will work closely with the City of Lorain, the Lorain County Visitors Bureau and more. This will be done but not limited to the following methods:

  1. Helping attactions in the City of Lorain to welcome visitors.
  2. Creating and working with sponsors of already established special events that will encourage out-of-town visitors to attend.
  3. Helping restaurants to attract visitors.
  4. Creating an environment conducive to welcoming visitors.
  5. Marketing our tourism to other communities.
